Excidor, with innovative development and manufacturing of control systems, keypads, and electronics for driver environments in mobile working machines, announces that Daniel Majgren is the company’s new CEO. Daniel started his position in mid-April and succeeded Jan-Erik Persson, who, after five years in the CEO role, is changing positions to Excidor’s CTO.
Now it’s official that Lagercrantz Group-owned Excidor has appointed Daniel Majgren, 44, as the new CEO. He will take over the role of leading the company forward in continued development and expansion. Daniel has over twenty years of experience in sales, business, and operational development, fifteen of which have been in leading positions. With a background primarily in technology and the industry, he possesses both the experience and expertise needed to bring Excidor to the next level.
– Excidor has a strong position in the market, and I am impressed by the company’s development and what everyone at Excidor has accomplished. I feel thrilled and proud to lead Excidor into the future as the new CEO. Excidor is in a very exciting phase of its development and has many ongoing projects, including new products and the development of the next generation of control systems and components. Daniel has proven himself to be strong in leadership in large organizations and entrepreneurship in smaller businesses, and he is the right person to grow Excidor’s existing business while navigating and developing new businesses and products.
Leaving the CEO role, but not the company
After his five years as Excidor´s CEO, Jan-Erik Persson had the opportunity to shift his focus to what he enjoys the most: technology. When the position of Excidor’s CTO became available, it felt natural for Jan-Erik to switch roles and focus.
– It feels exciting, and I’m glad to become a CTO. After five years, I warmly hand over the leadership of Excidor to Daniel and his new energy and mindset, says Jan-Erik Persson.
